Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) 
New Mexico Component

NEW MEXICO COMPETITION: New Mexico is offing a state component of the Conservation Innovation Grant.  This grant program typically provides a 50% match to implement innovative conservation concepts as described in in the announcement of program funding. Grant proposals with federal matching costs of $5,000 to $75,000 will be considered.  The deadline for submitting applications to the NRCS New Mexico State Office is April 15, 2008. Final grant selection will be made following close of the national CIG process.

The New Mexico CIG State Component RFP can also be found on the Federal Grants website.  Select "Advanced Search", find the "Advanced Search" option, locate the box allowing a search based on "CFDA Number" enter "10.912," then click on the "New Mexico Conservation Innovation Grant" opportunity.
