Career Intern Program (CIP)

NRCS offers a career intern appointment for individuals who meet the educational and/or practical experience requirements for specific positions in the agency.  For information and program requirements, please view the announcements and follow the application instructions.

The Career Intern Program emphasizes career development. During the two-year internship, Career Interns experience formal training that includes classroom and on-line training, structured on-the-job training, and rotational assignments to provide the skills needed to successfully be a Civil Engineer. Applicants must meet the Civil Engineering requirements when applying for the career intern position. Please view the Letter of Solicitation and Application below for further information.
