New Mexico Student Career Experience Program (SCEP)
Information and Forms for Current SCEP Students
Introduction
Your position is that of a Student Trainee with New Mexico NRCS. It
provides intensified training in natural resources conservation work and
qualifying experience for a professional position upon graduation from college.
The duties are designed to provide experience and training in the application of
soil and water conservation principles, and theories in the planning and
application of resource management systems.
The following forms are required documentation during your summer work
assignment. Please print all required forms and maintain in a file to
document your work experience. Upon completion of your work assignment,
please forward to the state HR office.
For Current SCEP Students

The following documents are required during your assignment with NRCS-NM.
These forms are to be completed ONLY if you have been offered a SCEP position
with NRCS-NM.
For Current SCEP Supervisors
