2008 New Mexico Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) Application Information

County Documentation

Local Work Group recommendations are the basis for the proposal submitted by theNRCS Designated Conservationist.  The cost share rates will be factored into the new payment schedule.  Refer to the appropriate Area Payment Schedule for a list of eligible practices, practice payments and incentive payments.

The practices listed below will use the denoted cost-share rate as a factor in determining the practice payment:

314  Brush Management - 75 percent
441  Micro Irrigation - 75 percent
666  Forest State Improvement - 75 percent
533  Pumping Plant (Solar) - 65 percent
314  Brush Management - 65 percent *
430  Pipelines - 60 percent
431  Above Ground, Multi-Outlet Pipeline - 60 percent
442  Sprinkler Irrigation - 60 percent
587  Structures for Water Control - 60 percent

* 65 percent when 314 is included in a contract under the Private-Federal Cooperative Grazing Initiative.
