2008 New Mexico Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) Application Information

County Documentation

Local Work Group recommendations are the basis for the proposal submitted by the NRCS Designated Conservationist.  The cost share rates will be factored into the new payment schedule.  Refer to the appropriate Area Payment Schedule for a list of eligible practices, practice payments and incentive payments.

The practices listed below will use the denoted cost-share rate as a factor in determining the practice payment:

314  Brush Management - 75%
441  Micro Irrigation - 75%
666  Forest State Improvement - 75%
533  Pumping Plant (Solar) - 65%
314  Brush Management - 65% *
430  Pipelines - 60%
431  Above Ground, Multi-Outlet Pipeline - 60%
442  Sprinkler Irrigation - 60%
587  Structures for Water Control - 60%

* 65% when 314 is included in a contract under the Private-Federal Cooperative Grazing Initiative.
